This is just for ideas if anyone is interested in buying me something. I know this comes off as pretty conceited, but a lot of my family members read my site. I thought I might as well give them a little nudge in the right direction… not that I think anyone should take any sort of pleasure in material items… Also, I’ve been told that I’m hard to shop for. I would like to dispel these rumors! Here is my list (good for birthdays too!).
Homemade stuff
Above all else, I love getting things that are nearly free to make. I really love something someone put their heart into.
- A knitted scarf, mittens, hat, et cetera
- A lengthy heartfelt letter.
- Baked goods (YUM!)
- Handmade jewelry
- Candles
- Origami and/or paper snowflakes
- Basically, anting creative that you put effort and time in will be more valuable to me than anything you could buy me.
Cheap stuff
- Thick notebook.
- A book older than 1900 or any classic book published by Bantam (please consult me first so you don’t get me a copy of something I already have.
- Pens, highlighters, mechanical pencils
- A bookmark
-
Things friends can get me
Linda Belle stirs up trouble in Sherwood Forest, hangs out with Adrian Monk solving crimes, and may or may not be the half-sister of George Michael Blueth. She's an avid reader and a compulsive writer. In her spare time she organizes her novels and sneers at Stephanie Meyers.
